Title: MM Consultant
Location: Remote, Brazil
Type: 12 Month + contract
Rate: 200/day euro
Will be supporting a US Global Template Rollout from LATAM. Client US office is in Atlanta.
Start Date as soon as possible
Will be responsible for all the following regarding SAP MM
Key interfaces, stakeholders and relationships:
IT Competency Centers, SAP Consultants, Rollout teams, Business Process Owners, Group Master Data & Process director, Functional Heads and Direct reports, Process experts, External providers (e.g. Consulting companies, Software editors, Technology & Tools for Automation…).
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
The SAP Consultant’s responsibility is to:
Train key users and end users on SAP Core Model functionalities
Be the IT counterpart of the Business Super Key users and Key users
Work closely with Regional IT for all tasks on their responsibility
Participate in core model alignment workshops.
Prepare and conduct localization workshop for local applications
Contribute at Wave level in qualifying possible standard solutions with Super Key Users and Key Users on change request for localizations
Help and assist key users:
– to cleanse and transform the Data according to technical and functional rules
– to populate UDS files for data conversion
– to create Data when not existing in current ERP
Follow up data conversion activities
Manage and write functional and technical specification of localizations and interfaces
Execute IT tests for SAP Core Model functionalities and for new changes requests
Execute UAT tests prior or with super key users and key users
Contribute to UAT test by qualifying defects, assigning them to relevant team and bringing to closure
Define and manage cutover plan set up activities
Coach end users on the Go live for minimum 2 months
Have a strong expertise in SAP implementation.
Ability to lead specific studies / assignments with internal and/or external resources and functions.
Ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels along the transformation journey
High willingness to be part of project rollouts
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Strong cultural integration skills
Ability to listen and learn from his/her team as well as from peers of Group or Business Areas but also to change the current ways of operating
Strong influencing skills to develop an effective regional/country network and promote effective transfer of good practices.
- English (Advanced), fluency in one or more other languages desirable.
